New residents of Belvedere and Tiburon are invited to join the Bel-Tib Newcomers Club, now in its thirteenth year.
The club offers members opportunities to become acquainted with the community and fellow newcomers through a variety of informal activities.
We plan special events and regularly scheduled monthly functions so you can meet people who share your interests.
You are welcome to participate in any of these activities. Each year they change according to the interests of the group.

Let’s take advantage of culturally rich and diverse Marin County! Join us for a variety of activities including plays, lectures, film, and art exhibits.
Book Club
Read a book a month and come join our lively discussions! We usually meet on the fourth Tuesday in the early afternoon.
Bridge Group
All are welcome! Join us for fun, skill-building, and card-playing in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. This is your chance to learn more about Bridge, meet some wonderful people, and enjoy the afternoon. We meet weekly and are looking forward to seeing you!

A lively discussion of current events and global topics including lunch and stimulating company. Come join us!
Dining Out
We explore different restaurants in the Bay Area, usually on the weekend evenings. This is a great way to discover special places for your out-of-town guests.
Explorers
Where do we explore? Bay Area museums, the Napa Wine Country, the Opera House, Chinatown, and a variety of other fun places, culminating with an enjoyable lunch. One of our most popular groups.
   
 
Hikers
Morning walks in scenic locations throughout the Bay Area, such as Point Reyes, Tennessee Valley, Muir Woods, Mt. Tam and across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Out to Lunch
  Each month we choose a different restaurant, cuisine and location. All delicious and a great way to try new places and enjoy good food and conversation.
Singles
Happy Hour at Guaymas or dinner at a local restaurant or member's home. For single people who want to meet other people in the community.
Travel Group
Meet at a Newcomers member’s home to share information and impressions of recent vacation and travel spots.
Wine Down
A social evening where all newcomers can get together and enjoy sumptuous appetizers and lively conversations. Always a well-attended event!
